Igor Krstevski headshot Hi there. I’m Igor. A web developer in New York, NY. I’m very passionate about web development and I’ve been fortunate to be able to do it as a career for the last 10 years.

At my current position at 1-800Accountant, I’m responsible for the website development and maintenance. My job regularly requires problem-solving. To stay up to date with the fast-moving technology, I frequently seek out new and better ways to improve processes and the overall user experience. I implemented a site-wide headless CMS that enabled our team to edit and create new content quickly. I also refactored the website from Angular.js to server-rendered React with Next.js and therefore improving the overall user experience.

At Bizfi I’ve pioneered multiple technologies to improve the workflow and overall web performance, introducing Git for version control, CSS preprocessor (Scss), mobile-first framework Bootstrap, MVC framework Laravel, and Google Places API integration. Additionally, I work closely with the digital marketing director to continuously improve the website performance and conversion funnel, thus resulting in higher conversion rates and lower cost per acquisition. I built www.bizfi.com and am responsible for maintaining it. Previously I maintained the code for www.merchantcashandcapital.com and www.nextlevelfunding.com.

Before joining Bizfi I founded a small business web development and internet marketing company - Digital Marketing Edge. I worked with small businesses to build and improve their web presence. I led web development projects from conception to completion, overseeing the design, building the websites, and developing internet marketing campaigns. In addition, I worked at One on One Ads on a full-stack video creation web application as a front-end developer.

Throughout my career I worked at a small internet marketing agency; I worked at a startup where we built an application that allowed small business owners to create their video commercial; I started my internet marketing agency; I was a front-end developer at a business financing company, and I’m currently a front-end web developer at an accounting company where I work on an accounting software for small businesses.

When not creating websites, I like spending time with my family and friends. I also like skiing, swimming, and hiking.
